This multi-track, three-day conference is designed for drivers, trainers, technicians, dispatchers, mechanics, administrators, and Type III providers. Attendees may choose sessions across multiple tracks, allowing for a customized learning experience that meets individual and organizational needs.


Training tracks include:

  • Students with Disabilities Track

  • Dispatcher Track

  • Administration Track

  • Driver’s Training Track


Train the Trainer is also an outstanding opportunity to connect with both experienced and new transportation professionals from across the state, offering valuable networking, collaboration, and idea-sharing throughout the conference.


Featured Monday Programming – July 20


Driver’s Training Track

On Monday, July 20, the Driver’s Training Track will focus on teaching the Minnesota Model School Bus Driver Training Program. Multiple presenters will cover all eight chapters of the training manual, providing attendees with practical, ready-to-use instructional tools. Participants will leave with enhanced skills to effectively train School Bus Drivers and Type III Drivers.


Child Passenger Safety on School Buses National Training for Pupil Transportation (8 hours)

Also offered on Monday is the 8-hour Child Passenger Safety on School Buses National Training for Pupil Transportation. Participants will learn national recommendations and requirements related to Car Seat Restraint Systems (CSRS) on school buses and in Type III vehicles.


Minnesota State Patrol Participation


The Minnesota State Patrol will be in attendance throughout the entire three-day conference, teaching classes and remaining available to answer questions and provide guidance to attendees.
