MAPT Members Elect Board Officers During 2026 Train the Trainer Conference

Members of the Minnesota Association for Pupil Transportation (MAPT) elected new leadership during the Association's Annual Meeting held as part of the 2026 Train the Trainer Conference in St. Cloud.

The annual election provides MAPT members the opportunity to help shape the future of the association by selecting leaders who will represent the interests of Minnesota's pupil transportation professionals and continue advancing the organization's mission of promoting safe, effective, and professional student transportation.

The results of the 2026 MAPT Board elections are:

• Treasurer: Amy Tiedens, District 287 (re-elected)

• District At Large A Representative: Chad Lawrey, Proctor Public Schools

• Region 2 Representative: Position remains open.

  
  

MAPT extends its congratulations to Amy Tiedens and Chad Lawrey and thanks them for their willingness to serve the association and its members. Their leadership and commitment will help guide MAPT as it continues to provide professional development, advocacy, and resources for Minnesota's pupil transportation community.

The association also extends its appreciation to all members who participated in the election process and those who continue to volunteer their time in support of MAPT's mission.

The Region 2 Representative position remains vacant. MAPT encourages members interested in serving on the Board of Directors to consider this leadership opportunity.

Board members play an important role in representing their regions, supporting association initiatives, and helping strengthen pupil transportation across Minnesota.
